Blackmagic's UltraStudio 4K Mini was designed as a breakout box linking your computer with external components to allow video capture, playback, and streaming. Portable and lightweight, this unit is loaded with high-quality features like 12G-SDI, HDMI 2.0 and capture capabilities in all formats up to 4K DCI at 60p, and 12‑bit high dynamic range capture in all formats up to 4K DCI at 30p. The 4K Mini is big on connections with virtually all needed I/O covered, including SDI, HDMI, analog audio, and component input. Plus, there's a 1/4" headphone output and an XLR microphone input on the front panel for convenience.
The UltraStudio 4K Mini front panel boasts push-button controls, an LCD screen for monitoring and setup, and an SD card reader slot to facilitate instant editing directly from your camera media. An obvious choice for on-location use due to its portability and feature set, the 4K Mini is also at home in a post-production or editing suite, and its compatibility with Mac, Windows and Linux software make it your one box solution to get the job done.
